We are looking for a Senior Content Strategist to build content that effectively guides prospects through the customer journey. Ultimately, you will ensure our content adheres to our guidelines, builds our brand, and moves potential customers through the funnel. We're searching for someone who is a master of their craft — producing clear and compelling messaging and copy for customers at each stage of the marketing funnel. They are enthusiastic problem solvers, delivering executive-grade content for B2B customers. They collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand customer and business objectives. They have strong conceptual, presentation, storytelling, and digital media skills, coupled with a creative mind and an impeccable attention to detail. This role requires a strong command of grammar and style, as well as a desire to create processes that help non-writers easily access and implement accurate messaging. The right candidate must be passionate about writing and editing short- and longer-form copy, proofreading final assets, maintaining style guides and evergreen content — all while upholding a consistent brand voice. In this role, you will work with members of the creative and marketing teams to create experiences that are engaging and refreshingly useful for our customers. You will need to apply customer data and insights to tailor your messaging to customer needs and pain points. This is a full-time role in the Corporate Marketing organization, reporting to the Head of Global Communications in our Lehi, UT office. Frequently Asked Questions What is a day in the life of a Senior Content Strategist? Partner with internal stakeholders to define, refine, and drive content strategy Own content production through the whole project lifecycle, from inception to deployment Produce marketing copy for products or services using language designed to motivate and engage customers Own the health of the content catalog — ensuring accuracy, freshness, searchability, and usability Collaborate with cross-functional partners and stakeholders to support product launches and updates Establish consistent style guidelines and content standards Explain features and benefits in clear, potent, and muscular messaging that aligns with Pattern’s voice and content standards Write copy for the entire marketing funnel – from web copy and ads to white papers and reports Write, proofread, and edit text at various stages of the writing process and in response to requests and feedback from various stakeholders and ensure high editorial standards are met What will I need to thrive in this role? Minimum of 7-10 years of experience conceiving and applying content strategy across digital channels and platforms in a B2B context (web, mobile, email, social media, etc.) Strong analytical skills — able to diagnose why content is working and what strategy changes should be made A deep understanding of how to use content strategy to move prospects into and through the marketing and sales funnel Experience developing and implementing brand standards Consistent track record of success creating content for complex end-to-end experiences in alignment with customer needs and business goals Proven track record of successfully operating independently — managing multiple priorities, following schedules, and meeting deadlines — all while maintaining impeccable outputs Strong presentation skills and experience sharing strategic rationale with senior leaders and stakeholders Management and mentor experience Deep knowledge of the B2B content landscape and major trends in the industry Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills Experience with the ecommerce ecosystem Strong business acumen and tenacity; ability to work autonomously through ambiguity and complexity in a fast-moving environment to drive results Unflappable poise; can pivot gracefully HTML experience SEO experience Experience with sales enablement content Data- and feedback-driven; dedicated to continuous improvement Experience working in or with growth-stage technology organizations What does high performance look like? You will work with the other members of the Pattern Marketing team and report to the Head of Global Communication. The team works alongside Demand Generation, Marketing Operations, Product Marketing, Category Marketing, and Partner Marketing. In the office you will sit next to and work daily with your immediate team and peers. The team follows a hybrid work schedule with some days in the office and some from home. This team is data-driven and results-oriented. You will collaborate regularly with members of your team to implement actionable solutions. Ideas and input are encouraged from all members.
